Short - Pablo leaves Mexico and heads to the United States for his opportunity of a lifetime, to live the 'American Dream'. Experiencing tremendous hardship since his arrival, Pablo decides to call his sister Sofia and pleads with her to join him in America. Having just received her letter of acceptance to the University of Guadalajara, Julia forfeits this opportunity for the love and concern she has for her brother and agrees. Together they both experience, share and endure continuous human hardships in what becomes a devastating nightmare leading to false hopes
