'Smoke' is
an entertaining and informative documentary
that delves into the world of reasons, why
people continue to smoke, despite the obvious
health risks involved.
It was shot entirely
in Buffalo, New York, a city which has one
of the highest incidents of Cancer in the
country, and is also home to Roswell, a world-class
Cancer institute.
Humor and Satire is provided
by 'blast from the past' historical media
of old tobacco ads, to congressional hearings,
and is contrasted with the unique stories
of five young smokers, from a Broadway-style
dancer, a Radio DJ, to a chimney sweeper.
