| The eyes of Kent, an up-town
bachelor, burst wide open, greeting the morning
sunlight. He checks the pulse of a sleeping
Cara, the prior evening's one night stand to
see if she is still asleep. Kent showers, and
stands gazing out at the city of Chicago through
his ceiling high windows. He turns on jazz
music and makes his away into the kitchen to
cook Cara breakfast. Cara's eyes burst wide
open on Kent as he goes from unfocused to focused
through Cara's blurred vision. Cara apologizes
for falling asleep so quickly last night and
tells Kent that she has a boyfriend and should
probably just go home. After Kent directs Cara
to the bathroom to get some pain relief for
her head, she discovers that she has been drugged.
She decides to play it cool, but when Kent
goes off to fetch her some orange juice, Cara
moves to retrieve her knife. But Kent is two
steps ahead and reveals that Cara is the serial-killing
femme fatale who killed his brother. But Cara
is quicker than Kent thinks and his plan goes
awry when Cara proves to be more powerful than
Kent could have ever imagined.
