It's Spring
1993, in suburban Southern Ontario. The Maple
Leafs are on the verge of making the Stanley
Cup Finals and facing their most hated rival
yet; The Montreal Canadiens. For the residents
of Leafs-Loving St. Catharines, winning the
cup for Toronto is a sure thing, but according
to 10 year old Tino, Leafers shouldn't be
planning the parade route just yet.
Scared to death to reveal his true colors to his friends and family, Tino lives
the life in the shadows of Leaf culture. But something is different about this
young boy. One day he will let it be known: TINO IS A HABS FAN! But for one reason
or another all his attempts at revelation end in failure. Until that one magic
day in June, when the Montreal Canadiens win the Stanley Cup.
